Draft - Treatment

In order to attract my target audience, I have conformed to the conventions of the pop music genre and followed the expectations on the briefing. Examples of the ways I have attracted my target audience is through; using vibrant colours which creates a fun loving atmosphere, carefully selecting my cast that matches the audience demographic, using intertexuality from popular teenage movies and using locations where teenagers would typically hang out. I used the following locations for my music video; Hounslow train station, Heal's London, Russel Square park, King's Cross Tunnel and Treaty Centre car park in Hounslow. I worked on the entire music video on my own and took up all of the production roles such as; producing, directing, camera operator, editor and prop manager. I will finally aim to use the following effects whilst editing my music video; colour shift effect, bass/screen pump effect, flicker/strobe light effect, distortion filters, flash effects, film leader/real overlay, time echo ghost effect and animated scribble effect.
